Description

Vintage Tudor Oyster Prince "Small Rose" with reference 7965 in steel. Tudor used the proven Rolex Oyster case construction at that time and combined it with its own automatic movements based on ETA. The rose logo on the dial symbolizes the early Tudor brand identity; Tudor used this rose as a logo until 1969, after which the coat of arms was used, which is still used today. The present example has an engraving on the case back, which represents the company logo of "Gutehoffnungshütte Oberhausen", as well as a 25th anniversary "1935 - 1960". The watch is on a leather strap with a Rolex pin buckle in steel. This Oyster Prince is in a very nice condition. This Tudor will be delivered with a historically correct Rolex box and outer carton, the original Tudor Prince manual, and the photo.
