What is my watch worth?
Describe it in one sentence, the way you would tell a friend. We show you the prices comparable watches are currently offered at.
No watch recognised yet
Type above what you have. The more we recognise, the narrower the range.
Market view
Each bar is offers of the same reference. Gold marks the realistic range: the lower to middle part of offers, since watches usually sell below the asking price.

How we calculate
- 1
Compare
We collect current offers of exactly this reference from dealers and private sellers.
- 2
Adjust
Every offer is adjusted to your condition, set and year, using factors we measured on the market.
- 3
Realistic, not wishful
Outliers are dropped. Since listings are asking prices and watches usually sell below them, we use the lower to middle part of offers. If there are enough watches exactly like yours, they count double.
What determines the value of your watch
Two watches of the same reference can be a few thousand euros apart. These four things make the difference, and we measured them on thousands of offers.
- up to +14 %
Condition
Unworn watches with protective film fetch clearly more. Between “very good” and “good”, on the other hand, there is often little difference.
- up to −5 %
Box & papers
The full set proves the origin. Without both, buyers deduct noticeably, missing just one costs less.
- ≈ 1.6 % per year
Year
Younger watches of the same reference are usually a little more expensive, older years only gain again as vintage.
- updated daily
Market
Supply and demand shift prices all the time. That is why we use current offers, not list prices.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find out what my watch is worth?
Enter the reference or model, then the year, condition and whether box and papers are included. We compare current offers of exactly this reference, adjust each one to your details and show you the range comparable watches are offered at right now. What you actually achieve in the end may differ.
Is the valuation free?
Yes. With a free account you can value up to 10 watches a day, with no subscription and without us sharing your watch.
Is this an appraisal?
No. The range is non-binding guidance based on current offers. For insurance or inheritance you need an appraisal from a watchmaker.
Why might my selling price differ?
Our estimate is based on asking prices, meaning what sellers ask for, not what is finally paid. The actual price depends on the exact condition, on details such as service history or strap length, on the buyer and on the timing. See the range as guidance, not as a price guarantee.
Why do dealers pay less?
Dealers buy to resell and factor in servicing, warranty and margin. Selling privately usually brings more but takes longer.
How much are box and papers worth?
For popular models usually a few percent. A watch loses the most without box and papers, because buyers find it harder to verify its origin.
Where do I find the reference number?
On the warranty card, the invoice or between the lugs on the case. If you do not know it, just search by brand or model and we suggest matching references.
How often do prices change?
Daily. With your collection we recalculate your watch every morning and let you know when the market midpoint moves by 5 %.
What happens to my details?
Nothing. We only store your valuation if you add it to your collection, and we never share it.
